Living and Dying

Some people lose their lives to murder,

while others die inwardly - spiritually in their souls

from greed, ego and other moral crimes.

So, when we mourn those who die outwardly,

(and so we should)

we can be reassured they never lost what truly matters

and will be raised again whole.

While those who die inwardly die in every life

now through eternity

by choice, reversible in an instant,

left stagnating into fate.
